This material is used for advanced study of the functions of verbs. The Verb Conjugation Chest, sometimes known to students as “The Big Red Verb Box”, provides them with a concretized impression of the “verb kingdom”. It is a classification system for all aspects of the verb – moods, forms, and voices. Like a Chinese Box, the Verb Conjugation Chest contains a series of nesting containers, which helps the student understand the organization of the material within.
